Primarily self-taught, I began my career in fashion illustration and photo direction, with clients that include Banana Republic, Macys, and The North Face. I moved into commercial illustration, editorial, and publishing with clients that include The Smithsonian, Newsweek, Sports Illustrated, Readers Digest, Honda, The Wall Street Journal, and HBO. Galleries that display my work include The Zimmer Gallery in Mendocino and the Beat Museum in San Francisco. Currently, I instruct Fundamental Drawing classes in pencil and colored pencil at the Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton with an emphasis on structure and enhanced, realistic detail.
