Doing art has always been an important part of my life. I love the whole process of doing art. I am mostly “self taught” although I am grateful for the many teachers who encouraged me to explore my passion and trust my creative instincts.
I mainly paint, using acrylic, pastels and mixed media. I am drawn to playful subjects and bold colors. You will find themes of nature, music and food in my work, all subjects that I love and are near to my heart. Additionally, I am doing digital art on my iPad and love the new art possibilities from this medium.
I live in Pleasanton. My art studio is at the Bothwell in Livermore. I am one of the artists with work on display at the Livermore Art Association Gallery.
