PAL Workshop Policies
- All balance due checks must be received 30 days before the first day of a workshop.
- No refunds will be given after the workshop begins.
- Cancellations are accepted prior to 30 days before the workshop less the $50 administrative fee.
- Cancellations which find a replacement before the workshop starts will be refunded less a $25 fee.
- Emergencies will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
- All cancellations MUST be in writing by letter or email and be acknowledged.
- PAL reserves the right to cancel workshops due to insufficient enrollment or any reason beyond their control; all funds will be retuned.
- Additional fees for models or materials may be needed in addition to the workshop fee.

The Young Artists’ Studio has openings in its 2018 Summer Session. Artist Peggy Frank welcomes interested students ages 7 and older to sign up for a week or more of small group instruction in art. Projects include all kinds of drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture and are held in Peggy’s studio. High school students working on advanced portfolios are welcome, as are adults and families, if space allows. Peggy has been working with young artists in the Livermore Valley since 1980. Beginning Linocut & Hand Coloring Workshop: June 3 & 10, 10am-4pm $145.
Learn how to carve your designs into linoleum. Make multiple prints and hand-printed cards for your friends and family! You will learn designing, transferring, and carving techniques. We will use hand printing methods so you can also print without a press at home with minimal investment in equipment. We will print with one color (black) on paper suitable for adding hand coloring. The class is flexible, so time permitting, you will be able to make prints and add watercolor, color pencils, etc.

AIR, (Artists in Reflection) will be hosting a community forum on the subject of Unity. A three member panel of people from different professions will lead our discussion. The forum is open to all but may serve to help artists create works on the theme of unity for a separate event later this summer.
