Eugenia W. Zobel
Porcelain Painting/Oils
Eugenia W. Zobel is best known for her porcelain painting. Her natural
ability is truly imparted through her paintings. Porcelain painting
and oils are her principal mediums. Eugenia has always had a real interest
in art, and started painting on porcelain china about 15 years ago.
As a resident of the Livermore Valley for the past twenty years, grapes
are her favorite and most requested subject by her patrons. Her grapes,
berries, plums, and other fruits and flowers enhance the homes of many
collectors. When looking at the finished work, the challenges of the
porcelain medium are not always obvious; some pieces require up to
six firings. However, the great skill required by the artist is evident
in every piece.
Eugenia's formal art education includes Las Positas College in Livermore,
CA, and numerous different seminars and workshops with well-known national
and international porcelain artists.
Eugenia has received many awards for her work, including Best of
Show, First Place, Merit Award as well as many other recognitions.
Her finished artwork is available at the Purple Orchid Inn in Livermore,
CA; Proctor's Custom Framing in Livermore, CA, and various art shows
in and around the Livermore Valley. |
