Zhiping Zhang
Photography
Zhiping Zhang is an accomplished international photographer with more than 30
years of photography experience. He grew up in Tianjin, China. He is a retired
railway engineer and lives in Beijing, China, part of the year and in Livermore,
California, part of the year.
Zhiping has exceptional skills in photography
and just in most recent years, Zhiping's photos have won more than
100 international and Chinese awards and published in many magazines
and books. Some examples of his awards include:
Frosty GreatWall: China Beijing GreatWall Cup Photography
Competition, first place; Waterfall in the Clouds: US,
Canada and China Photography Tour Competition, second place; GreatWall
Love: Swiss World Photography Competition, third place; Chinese
Dragon: Chinese International Photography Competition, third place.
Zhiping is an active member of the Tri-Valley art community. He regularly
participates in art shows in the Livermore and Pleasanton area. He
is a member of the Chinese Photography Society, Beijing Photography
Society, San Francisco Chinese Photography Association, Livermore Art
Association and Pleasanton Art League.
