Graduating in the year 2000 from the University of Pretoria, Southe Africa, with a degree in fine arts, Engela has been pursuing artistic endeavors ever since. Working with some of the leading interior designers in South Africa gave her invaluable experience in decorative art and interior design, faux finishes and trompe-l'oeil. In her fine art, she favors oils and acrylics, but also uses mixed media, pencils and inks. Engela is well known for her koi and flower paintings, as well as her lively murals.
