Kathy Jahn
Watercolor
Kathy Jahn is an award winning local San Francisco Bay Area artist.
Specializing in watercolors, she also enjoys other art mediums.
Her painting subjects have a nostalgic charm, whether they be European
scenes, Victorian homes, landscapes, rural American farm houses, rustic
barns, vineyards, grapes or her favorite florals and gardens. Giclee
limited edition prints are also available of selected paintings.
Kathy's art
is in numerous private and corporate collections throughout the United
States and the world. In addition, her art has been published in
various books.
With more than 25 years in the art field, she has been in many juried
art shows and one person shows, and has won numerous local and national
awards.
Kathy established the Main Street Art Gallery in Pleasanton,
California, and owned and operated it for eight years. In 1991,
she sold the gallery so she could devote all her time to her love
of painting.
Kathy is currently a member of the California Watercolor
Association, American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society,
Oakmont Art Association, Valley of the Moon Art Association, Watercolor
Artists of Sonoma County, Marin Watercolor Society, Santa Clara Valley
Watercolor Society, Pleasanton Art League, and Livermore Art
Association. Kathy has juried various art shows, and she also holds
watercolor workshops and teaches art classes.
Kathy's artwork is currently showing in Saint Germain's Jewel & Art
in Tiburon, Marin County, California, the Berger Center in Oakmont,
California, and by appointment at K Jahn Studio in Sonoma County,
California. Her artwork is also shown at Bay Area outdoor shows
during the year. Kathy can do commissions from your favorite scene
or photograph. |
