Glenyse Henschel is a Bay Area native who is very passionate about her art. As a child she serendipitously stumbled upon a quote by the great actress, Eleonora Duse: "If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass has the power to move you, rejoice, for your soul is alive." This became her motto for life and has defined her artistic career. She paints what moves her, whether it be the giant redwood or a tiny butterfly wing. All of life is magnificent. All of life is a work of art.

"The gift of painting is a core part of me which makes my life very rich and incredibly fun. Through my artwork, I share with the world some of the joy that I continually receive."

Glenyse's work has been shown in a variety of art shows and can be found in many private collections through-out the country.
