Vineyard" was

Patricia says, "Painting is meditation for me. I find painting
to be a healing experience. It brings me joy, and I wish to pass that
joy on to the viewer. The beauty in Nature, especially the ocean, inspires
my paintings. Observing nature, really seeing and feeling it, enables
me to work without a predetermined design. I am never certain where
a painting will lead me — it is my spirit in action.
"I paint colorful compositions with powerful rhythms using acrylic,
mixed media, collage, and oil. I particularly like to paint with water-media,
because of its versatility. The fluid nature of the medium enables
me to produce the rhythmic effects I desire.
"All of my life, I have felt a strong need to somehow express my deep
inner feelings. I discovered that it is my wish to create that drives
me to search so deeply within. My soul is telling me to paint. I feel
very passionate about my painting. When I paint, I feel that I am connected
to the universe. It is a major part of who I am."
